SUMMARY:Latino Leader Roundtable Oct. 2026
DESCRIPTION:The Latino Leaders Round Table (LLRT) is a collaborative effort between the Napa County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the LLRT aim to cultivate a more inclusive community by regularly convening influential leaders from various backgrounds.\n\n\n\nOur mission is to bring together leaders from Latinx and non-Latinx communities\, such as politicians\, educators\, government officials\, healthcare institutions\, nonprofit organizations\, and the business community.\n\n\n\nWe seek to work cooperatively to encourage diversity\, inclusivity\, and active participation within the Latinx community. We aim to improve a better understanding of this dynamic community's distinct needs and obstacles while at the same time promoting the richness of the Latinx culture. Together\, we pledge to make a positive impact by actively participating in and supporting initiatives that aim to improve the well-being and prosperity of our Latinx community.\n\n \n\nThe Latino Leaders Round Table welcomes three of Napa County's Latino elected officials for our October luncheon: Latino Leadership in Public Office Lessons from the Campaign Trail and the Call to Serve.\n\nFeaturing Sheriff Oscar Ortiz (Napa County)\, Councilmember Irais Lopez (Calistoga City Council)\, and Supervisor Belia Ramos (Napa County Board of Supervisors)\, this panel will explore what inspired each of them to run\, the barriers they faced as Latino candidates\, and the lessons they learned along the way.\n\nAs we approach the November election\, join us for a candid conversation on leadership\, public service\, and the importance of Latino representation in local government and how our community can support the next generation of leaders ready to serve.\n\nAll are welcome to attend.
